Shower/Tub Repair and Replacement

Solutions for leaks, worn components, and outdated trim

Leaks, worn-out fixtures, and outdated shower or tub trim can make your bathroom feel old, inefficient, or difficult to use. We help you identify the cause of common shower and tub issues and walk through repairs or upgrades with simple, easy-to-follow steps.

Common Shower & Tub Issues We Help You Fix

Many shower and tub problems are easy to address with the right guidance. We assist with:

  • Shower leaks or dripping fixtures
  • Worn-out handles or escutcheons
  • Outdated or mismatched trim kits
  • Temperature or pressure issues
  • Loose or damaged shower components
  • Tub spout leaks or diverter problems
  • Valve adjustments or part replacements

These issues are often easier to fix than homeowners expect.

Fix Leaks and Dripping Shower Fixtures

A dripping showerhead or leaking tub spout is usually caused by worn internal parts such as:

  • Cartridges
  • Rubber seals
  • Diverters
  • O-rings

We help you identify the correct part, remove the old components, and install the replacements properly so the leak is resolved.

Replace Outdated or Worn Shower Trim

Upgrading trim—such as handles, plates, spouts, and showerheads—is a simple way to refresh the look of your bathroom without replacing the entire valve system.

We guide you through:

  • Choosing the right trim kit for your valve brand
  • Removing old trim pieces safely
  • Installing new components
  • Ensuring proper alignment and sealing
  • Testing for correct operation

A trim upgrade can make a significant visual difference with minimal effort.

Troubleshoot Temperature and Pressure Issues

If your shower isn’t getting hot enough, fluctuates in temperature, or has weak water pressure, we help you:

  • Inspect internal components
  • Adjust the temperature limit stop
  • Clean or replace clogged parts
  • Identify the correct replacement cartridge
  • Determine whether the issue is with the valve or another source

These small adjustments often fix bigger frustrations.

Know When Replacement or Upgrading Makes Sense

Not every issue requires major work. We help you decide whether to:

  • Repair existing components
  • Upgrade worn or outdated trim
  • Replace the valve cartridge
  • Install a new showerhead or spout
  • Consider a full valve replacement (when appropriate)

You get clarity before spending money on parts or calling a contractor.

FAQs

How much does a video call session cost?

Each session is a flat $65 for up to 25 minutes. There are no hidden fees, no upsells, and no extra charges — just clear, straightforward help for your specific issue. Most homeowners save far more than the cost of the call by avoiding unnecessary service visits or overpriced repairs.

Who is this service for?

This service is for people who want expert help without paying for an in-home appointment. If you’re unsure what’s wrong, want to avoid overpaying, or just need straightforward guidance, this service is for you.

What if we run out of time?

If the issue isn’t fully resolved within the 25-minute session, you’ll still walk away knowing exactly what’s going on, what parts you need, and what steps to take next. You’re free to book additional time if needed, but most issues are diagnosed or resolved quickly.

What if I need to cancel or forget about the appointment?

Life happens! If you cancel or reschedule at least 12 hours before your session, there’s no fee. Missed appointments without notice are charged in full since that time slot can’t be filled last-minute.

Can you help me figure out what parts I need?

Yes. We can identify the exact parts required for your repair — cartridges, flappers, fill valves, supply lines, trim kits, and more.
